Day of Celebrations!
This Sunday, we will celebrate Father’s Day, which is also the day Charles and I celebrate our 21st wedding anniversary!
- Father’s Day is celebrated. There are not enough words in English to thank my sweet husband, Charles, for all he stands for and continually does for me and our family.
- We are celebrating 21 years of wedded bliss!
I remember when I first met Charles on a blind date.
Who knew that in 2003, we would be married and have a beautiful blended family of four children? My, how our lives have grown! We are blessed with our children, their spouses, and our beautiful grandchildren. Life is so precious, and I am thankful for it every day! Here’s a flashback of our wedding day! We were married at First Colony Church of Christ, surrounded by our family, friends, and many of my students!
As we celebrate our 21st anniversary and Father’s Day this Sunday, I am immensely grateful for my husband, Charles, and our beautiful family. We have worked hard together to leave a legacy of faith, family, love, and service. Thank you, Charles, for your unwavering support, love, and dedication. Here’s to many more years of joy and togetherness. Happy Father’s Day!
As we reflect on our history, I am very thankful for not one but two dads who loved me and my sister.
My Stepdad, pictured left, married my mom when I was 9. I will always be grateful for his love and dedication to my mom and me. My Dad, on the right, and my mom divorced when I was a baby, but I am grateful I got to know him more and more in my teenage and high school years and beyond. Both are in Heaven now with so many of our loved ones. I know this world is not our home, but I am reminded of how important it is to love and show kindness daily to those we love. Life is short and is to be treasured.
Thank you to my Dad’s for these amazing years we have shared. To all the Dads out there, you are doing a fabulous job! Happy Father’s Day!
Other exciting things are happening in our lives, too, and I’m happy to share this with you!
